There's not much left to say that hasn't already been said in one of the links
below, except that the world lost a great man of the 4th of July in 1995. If you ever saw Bob's
show (The Joy of Painting), you know that after 30 minutes of listening to his soft, soothing
voice, you were totally relaxed; no matter what was going on prior to the show. And yet you're
amazed at how that plain white piece of canvas turned into a beautiful picture right before
your eyes.The good Lord had truely blessed Bob with an amazing talent that so few has ever known.
He is one of only a handful of celebrities that I would like to have met, but it's too late now.
I can only hope the public television stations keep his memory alive by runnig his shows. Bob
was the greatest and will be greatly missed. So, until next time ... God Bless!
